Join us in prayer for the families of the
19 Firefighters killed in Arizona.
18 of the 19 heroes lost were members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, a team of wildland firefighters who were caught by the Yarnell Wildfire.
Until 2013, Arizona had suffered 21 wildfire fatalities since 1955, according to the National Interagency Fire Center. This is the worst mass firefighter fatality incident in recent history.
Please, send your thoughts and prayers to the families of the Granite Mountain Hotshots and all of the firefighters who continue to put their lives at risk to save life and property in the line of duty.
FirefighterAid has established a special fund to support the families of firefighters who have fallen in the line of duty in 2013. Join us in remembering and honoring the memories and sacrifices made by these fallen heroes and their grieving families.
